Unknown Utopia is a spiritual space within an idealized world. It manifests through the meditative power of the mind, drawing on the energy of dreams to feed back into the blank, unknown realms, condensing the fragmented whispers captured by believers in these realms into spiritual power, thus continuing the cycle of manifestation.
This process resembles the phenomenological idea that shared reality is shaped through subjective experience. Believers collectively engage in meditation and creative practices, blurring the lines between individual perception and collective spiritual experience.
The artist blurs the boundaries between reality and dreams through a purely digital space, constructing a virtual shrine for the audience. Drawing on digital ontology, the artist questions what is "real" and how digital interactions can nurture genuine spiritual experiences.
Within the context of postmodernity, Unknown Utopia reflects the coexistence of fragmented narratives and multiple interpretations of spirituality, existing within a digital framework that democratizes spiritual exploration. It challenges traditional spiritual authority, allowing for a more diverse and open-ended engagement with belief systems.
