No.9719 No.1202 No.2202 No.1520 is a sculptural work that extends the exploration of identity, derived from the artist’s  project Polyhedron: Exploring the Fluid Interplay Between Self, Identity, and Environment. This quadriptych utilizes dried flowers, hardware, and discarded objects as primary materials, reflecting on the fragmentation and reconstruction of self-identity.

this work addresses the repression and alienation experienced by women born in the 1990s under the dogma of East Asian culture. Through the use of symbolic and discarded objects, the artist critiques the suppression and erosion of individual subjectivity imposed by societal norms. The work not only investigates the fluid nature of identity but also emphasizes the cyclical process of merging and evolving within the collective environment. The artist reinterprets these objects in a surrealist manner, transforming fragmented pieces of self into distant, unfamiliar representations, further illustrating the alienation from one’s own identity.

No.9719 No.1202 No.2202 No.1520 offers an intricate, material-based perspective on the paradox of self and collective identity, inviting viewers to reflect on the intersection of personal and cultural narratives within the sculptural realm.
